I am a first time employer of domestic helper. What should I do?
First time employer hiring a migrant domestic worker must first attend the Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP). You must also be 21 years old and above, not be an undischarged bankrupt and have the mental capacity to fully understand and discharge your responsibility as an employer. Last but not least, you must have the financial ability to hire, maintain and upkeep the helper in an acceptable accommodation.
